Witch Crafts

Witch hats, we’ve been repeating this project for years now. I always think maybe we won’t do it this year but T asks for it. It’s fun to see how the designs have changed over the years.

Blow Art Witch. One of the best things about Halloween School is getting to work with art styles that we don’t usually use. Blow Art is one of those styles. This is an easy project, I found a picture on Pinterest but couldn’t find any directions so just had to wing it. We used liquid water colors and alcohol artists markers, and of course googly eyes.

Before painting use washi tape or masking tape to tape off where the witches legs will be. T also made a little square of tape for the witches tooth. Then drop liquid water color (or thinned tempera paint should work) onto your paper and blow it with a straw. Wait for the paint to dry. When dry remove the tape and add your witch’s accessories.
