In the last of our Physics Kit experiments we made an “Earth” out of playdough, used tooth picks to represent houses and utility sources. Then tried to connect the utility lines (represented by colored ribbons) without crossing the lines. I think we weren’t supposed to be able to accomplish this but if you just ran the line “around the world” it was possible. All in all I was pleased with the ease of set up of these experiments but the lack of information and support of the kit was less than thrilling. I can’t complain too much though, it was free and it gave us something to do when I was too busy to plan anything.
